SPORTING GIVES A PERCENTAGE OF THE PASS TO GUARANTEE REINFORCEMENT; PLAYER HAS MAJOR LEAGUE CONTENDERS

It’s not easy, but Sporting won’t give up on signing Ousmane Diomandé. The green and white SAD do not want to give more than 5 million euros for the Midtjytlland defender, so the solution for the player to join Alvalade could involve sharing the pass, ‘A Bola’ clarifies.

The sports newspaper points out that the Danish emblem could have 10 or 20% of the economic rights of the 19-year-old central defender, or a percentage of a future sale. A contract until 2027 or 2028 will await the player in Alvalade.

The same source indicates that Diomandé is interested in the main European championships. Marseille, Sevilla and Southampton will be watching the Ivorian athlete, a factor which could make life even more difficult for the lions.

During the press conference giving an overview of Vizela’s reception, Rúben Amorim addressed the subject: “Another central defender could enter with a right foot. I won’t say if it’s Diomandé, and I won’t analyze the player because I never do that when they’re not from Sporting,” the coach pointed out.

If Diomandé’s hiring is confirmed, he will be the second winter signing for the Alvalade-based team. The first was Mateo Tanlongo, a 19-year-old midfielder from Rosario Central.

Recall that Midtjylland, from Denmark, is Sporting’s opponent in the play-off for access to the knockout stages of the Europa League.

This season, the footballer has played 16 games for the Mafrense emblem, where he has scored one goal and one assist.
