do not use list

Some branded products such as Dove and Tresemme have been taken off the market as harmful to consumers due to the presence of carcinogens.

After the presence of benzene, a substance that can cause cancer, was detected in several hair products, the multinational Unilever, producer of shampoo brands such as Dove, Suave and Tresemme, chose to withdraw from the market certain articles produced before October from 2021.

The company offers the possibility of refunds or vouchers through its websites to those who have purchased the products, but it is necessary to justify the purchase of the items with the identification code of each.

Some of the shampoos that should not be used are: Dove Volume & Fullness Dry; Fresh and dry floral dove; Dove Ultra Clean Dry; Dove Invisible Dry; Tresemme Prop Pure; Tresemme Dry Volume; Tresemme Dry Fresh & Clean Dry; Bed Head Dirty Secret, among many others.

The complete list of products to be withdrawn from the market is available at Official report from Unilever and the Federal Agency of the United States Department of Health and Human Services (FDA).
