Nopeonly a sore throat and a cough can indicate that you have Covid-19. A new study published in PLoS Global Public Health has found that there is a hand symptom that could be a sign of infection. The problem is that it is quite common in cold weather. We’re talking about frostbite.
Research has shown that 45% of individuals who had respiratory symptoms similar to those of Covid-19 had this type of rash. There were reports of this symptom in the study conducted in the United States, but also in Europe.
An increase in frostbite was detected when Covid-19 cases were higher. The drop in temperatures turned out not to be the only reason for the increase in these eruptions.
They can occur in the hands, but also in the area of the feet. Frostbite is often associated with colder weather. This research concludes that there is a link between Covid-19 cases and rashes.
