BOLA – SC Braga won but lost at home to St. Gilloise (see goals) (Europa League)

St. Gilloise striker Gustaf Nilsson, a 25-year-old Swede, came off the bench in the 83rd minute, tied the game in the 86th minute and scored his team’s winning goal at 90+5′. The Belgians therefore had the gold on the bench, and yesterday, in Braga, they won their third victory in this group stage of the Europa League, against a SC Braga which, it must be said, was superior to many stages of the match, were winning by 1-0, they could have made it 2-0 (Abel Ruiz missed on the face of Moris), and ended up conceding their first defeat in this competition this season.

After a first half with little cause for interest – except for a 37th-minute shot from Braga Racic, which tested Moris’s attention, and another from the striker Nigerian Boniface, from St. Gilloise, returned by the crossbar from Matheus’ goal… – the second half was much livelier, with Braga immediately giving the sign that they wanted to win the game.

And if Vitinha left a warning in the 46th minute, Abel Ruiz even scored in the 49th, and when we thought that the Minho team was going to pack for a quiet performance, voila, the Belgians still showed signs of life and did not never overlooked the game.

The substitutions operated by Karel Geraerts proved fundamental, because while Nilsson was the man to score, Adringa also participated directly in both shots.

With this defeat, SC Braga lost the leadership of the group to the Belgians.
