What’s more, the researchers found that doing a workout that combines aerobic exercise and weight lifting is even more effective, as the risk drops by 41% to 47%.

Factors such as education, smoking status, body mass index, race and ethnicity did not alter the findings, however, different genders had different results, which were more positive in males. women.

Weightlifting is, according to researchers, associated with a lower risk of premature death from all causes, including cardiovascular disease.
