Quebecer Lou-Adriane Cassidy and Ontarian Eli Brown were leathernnés. In addition to receiving a scholarship, the winners will be invited to the 2022 Gala which was held at Massey Hall in Toronto on September 24.
” Lou-Adriane Cassidy says to you: good evening is an album that marks an important turning point in my journey as a songwriter. It’s an album that is both intimate and liberating that I’m very proud of and that I had a lot of fun writing and recording. It touches me all the more that this work is highlighted by the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame,” said Lou-Adriane Cassidy in a press release.
Forty applications were analyzed this year by two juries, one French-speaking and one English-speaking, made up of 13 experts from the music industry. Among the previous recipients, we find Ariane Roy, Mustafa, Les Louanges and Charlotte Cardin, in particular.
