Tottenham announced on Tuesday the signing of 21-year-old right-back Djed Spence, who is leaving Middlesbrough and signing for the spurs until 2027.
Spence is considered one of the great promises of English football, having distinguished himself in the Championship last season with Nottingham Forest (on loan from Middlesbrough). At the service of the newly promoted in the Premier League, the English international under 21 has played 46 matches, scored 3 goals and delivered 4 assists.
None of the clubs have revealed the value of the transfer, but the English press points to a deal of around 14 million euros, plus four depending on goals.
Spence is Antonio Conte’s sixth reinforcement, after Perisic, Forster, Bissouma, Richarlison and Lenglet.
