Next Monday, the price of fuel will move again. In diesel, the increase can still be 12 cents per litre. If this increase occurs, the price will reach a new all-time high.
The value of gasoline is expected to decline by two cents per litre, down from last week’s value of 14 cents per litre.
Going back to the beginning of the year, gasoline has already increased by 18 times, while diesel has increased by 15 times.
In contrast, this year there have only been six fuel price reductions.
The National Association of Public Freight Carriers (Antram), which represents more than 2,000 carriers, met with the government on Wednesday and said it had reached its limit.
