The Golden State Warriors beat the Dallas Mavericks again (109-100) in Game 3 of the NBA Western Conference Finals, a championship semifinal that then gives access to the Grand Finals with the Eastern Conference runner-up and decision over the eventual champion, and now trailing by three wins to nil.
Three years later, Golden State is very close to being present again in an NBA Finals, and never has a team disadvantaged by 0-3 managed to win the last four games of a series in the play-offs.
Stephen Curry was still fundamental: 31 points and 11 rebounds. After an up and down first half, Golden State took the lead in the third quarter, with Klay Thompson contributing 19 points and seven rebounds; Kevon Looney had 12 rebounds and nine points; Jordan Poole and Draymond Green had 10 points and five rebounds each.
For the Dallas Mavericks, Luka Doncic reached another 40-point game with 11 rebounds. Spencer Dinwiddie came off the bench to score 26 points while Jalen Brunson had 20.
Game 4 is scheduled for next Tuesday in Dallas.
