OnePlus is preparing for launching a special edition soon of the famous OnePlus Ace. The news was confirmed over the weekend by people working in the Chinese manufacturer’s supply chain.
Shortly after, the folks at 91Mobiles gained access to a real image of the device which we will call OnePlus Ace Race Edition. The most interesting point of the material is that the new smartphone will not follow the design line of its predecessor.
In fact, the new Ace is apparently based on the OnePlus 10 Pro, and TENAA has already specified that this new device bears the number PGZ110. See device design below:
For now, the technical specifications of this device have not yet been published by the Chinese regulatory agency, but the source of the leak has already clarified some important points.
So we know that the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition screen measures 6.59 inches and is apparently an AMOLED with FHD+ resolution. Moreover, no matter how much the the processor does not have its name revealedthe device will be sold in variants with 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB of internal storage.
As for the image leaks, the three rear cameras offer 64MP, 8MP, and 2MP resolutions respectively. For selfies, there’s 16 MP inside the hole.
As there is no official statement from the manufacturer, we still don’t have an official release date for the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition. Anyway, that could change in the next few days.
