THE BALL – PSG draw in added time and knock Bayern out of the Women’s Champions League (UEFA)

After the triumph, in the first leg of the quarter-finals of the Women’s Champions League, in Munich, by 2-1, Paris Saint-Germain seemed to have an open way to the semi-finals of the competition, but the task s turned out to be much more difficult than some might have predicted.

AT Red and blue even improved in the match and opened the scoring through Sandy Baltimore, in the 17th minute, taking the lead, on aggregate, to 3-1, but Bayern Munich were far from giving in and managed to turn around, first with Saki Kumagai equalizing, just two minutes later and, in the second half, at 55 ‘, by Lea Schuller, who equalized the draw, taking the extra time decision.

In the extra half hour of play, Paris Saint-Germain obtain the precious 2-2 from Ramona Bachmann (112′) and, without change of result until the final whistle, the French reach the semi-finals of the competition, now waiting for Juventus or Lyon.
