Blagoja Milevski was a proud coach despite the defeat against Portugal (0-2), in the final of the play-offs of the European qualifying zone for the 2022 World Cup. The North Macedonia coach highlighted the excellent performance of the Balkan team.
“We should be proud of this team. They have shown a lot of potential, talent and are getting closer and closer to the top. Personally, I was very proud of the way we played in that game, where we tried to get the ball and I think we should all be happy. Mistakes happen and I stress again that they must be proud of the boys,” reiterated Blagoja Mileviski who also said goodbye with congratulations to Portugal.
We recall that North Macedonia was trying to obtain an unprecedented qualification for the 2022 World Cup. This former Yugoslav Republic made its debut in major international competitions last summer by participating in the European Championship.
