The FPF denounces the illegal sale of Portugal-North Macedonia tickets

These include situations where tickets are resold for higher values ​​and cases of fraud where tickets that don’t even exist are offered for sale.

The Portuguese Football Federation has denounced to the Food and Economic Security Authority (ASAE) the irregular sale of tickets for Portugal-North Macedonia, the final of the qualifying play-offs for the 2022 World Cup, revealed the federative body to Lusa, this Sunday.

The institution that governs Portuguese football “has received several complaints of resale of tickets and even fraud, after having immediately reported it to the competent authorities”, concerning the match scheduled for Tuesday at the Estádio do Dragão, in Porto.

“In the complaints detected, there are situations in which tickets bought at face value are resold for higher values, but there are also cases of fraud in which tickets that do not even exist are offered to the sale,” said the FPF.
