VIDEO: Palmeiras reach the Paulistão final and Abel makes history

Palmeiras qualified for the final of the São Paulo State Championship by receiving and beating Red Bull Bragantino, by 2-1, in the semi-finals.

Murilo and Rony scored the goals in the triumph of ‘Verdão’, in a match in which Abel Ferreira made history, the day his contract renewal was announced. The Portuguese coach reached the ninth final since taking charge of the São Paulo club and became the coach with the most consecutive home wins at the Allianz Parque.

In the final, Palmeiras can meet Corinthians, of Vítor Pereira, who discusses this Sunday the other vacancy with his rival São Paulo.
