LE BALLON – Yaremchuk leaves a message: “We must stop Putin and protect Ukraine” (Benfica)

Roman Yaremchuk has resumed using social media to leave a message of solidarity with his fellow Ukrainians. On Instagram, the Benfica striker posted a video with moving text.

“I am Roman Yaremchuk, Benfica and Ukraine national team player, Ukrainian, father, son. I am a man and my heart is broken because in my country there is a war, cities are destroyed, peaceful people die every day, including more than 100 children. The Russian army is relentlessly and deliberately destroying Ukrainians and creating a humanitarian catastrophe in our cities. It is a real genocide. Alice from Akhtyrka was eight years old, the family was killed. Kirill of Mariupol had only two. Sofia from New Kakhovka was six years old and her brother had just reached the first month. Unfortunately, the list of children killed in Ukraine is updated daily. We must stop Putin and protect Ukraine! When I say us, I mean everyone. Everyone matters! Do not remain silent, report on the war in Ukraine, talk about the brutal murders of children. Stop the war! Save the lives of Ukrainian children,” he wrote.
