Marc Marquez (Honda) was absent from the Indonesian Grand Prix this Sunday after suffering a concussion while warming up for the race after a violent crash – the fourth of the weekend. The pilot managed to get up and get out on his own, but needed help.
The Spaniard was taken to the local hospital in Lombok and diagnosed with a concussion, having also suffered several abrasions, including to his right arm, having been determined that he should be under observation for 24 hours, which has made it impossible to participate in the race, won by Miguel Oliveira.
Marquez should be ready for the Argentine Grand Prix in two weeks.
