VIDEO: Bochum-Mönchengladbach scrapped after referee hit by beer

Bochum-Borussia Mönchengladbach, from the 27th round of the Bundesliga, was canceled after the assistant referee was hit by a beer coming from the stands.

The situation happened in the 70th minute, as Gladbach won 2-0, thanks to goals from Plea and Embolo.

Christian Gittelmann was hit by the glass and immediately fell to the ground under the impact of the object. He then returned to the locker room accompanied by the chief referee, and before the two teams did the same.

For the rest, the Bochum players themselves argued with the fans, unhappy with what they had caused.

Interestingly, Bochum had shared a video this Friday afternoon with team captain Anthony Losilla calling on fans to say beer is for drinking, not for shooting.
