Ruben Neves is injured at Wolves-Leeds

Alarm signal for the national team. Rúben Neves, one of the midfielders summoned by coach Fernando Santos for the play-off to access the World Championship, came out injured this Friday from the duel between Wolves and Leeds.

The midfielder, shortly before the 25th minute, asked to be substituted when he felt pain during the Premier League 30th round game, and even walked normally to the touchline to be replaced by Francisco Trincão.

Rúben Neves’ physical problem comes around a week before Portugal’s game against Turkey in the 2022 World Cup play-off semi-final. On Friday, Wolves are expected to give details on the severity of the injury.
