THE Asus today announced BIOS support and updates, preparing a range of motherboards for the new range of processor series AMD Ryzen 5000 and AMD Ryzen 4000.
To accompany the new Ryzen 7 5800X3Dwhich has a special 96 MB L3 cache, the OMG released version 1.2.0.6b of AGESA to improve system performance. Many series motherboards ASUS 500, 400, A320 and X370 already has BIOS updates with this new version AGESAand all remaining compatible models will receive corresponding BIOS updates by March 25.
All other processors in this range will be recognized by motherboards from Asus 400 and 500 via pre-existing BIOS updates – also with AGESA version 1.2.0.6b – which can be downloaded from the ASUS Support. motherboards Asus Generations will receive support for these new processors as shown in the table below.
