Juventus secured their place in the Youth League semi-finals on Tuesday by beating Liverpool 2-0.
Fabio Miretti (67th) and Ange Josue Chibozo (69th) scored the goals for Vecchia Signora’s Under-19 team, who now await Benfica or Sporting in the semi-finals.
We recall that Benfica are already in the quarter-finals of the competition, having won Midtjylland by 3-2, while Sporting saw their round of 16, against Dynamo kyiv, postponed due to the invasion of Ukraine by Russia.
What is certain is that in the quarter-finals, the date of which remains to be defined, Benfica will play away against Sporting or Dynamo kyiv. Whoever wins will then be opponents Juventus, a game to be held in Nyon, Switzerland.
