The Sportinguistas don’t forget who has always given a lot to the club. In the Moreirense ground trip, guided by Ricardo Sá Pinto, the Leonine fans were keen to show the affection they have for the former lion.

At the end of the game, Sá Pinto thanked Sportinguistas for their affection and said that the relationship he has with “Sporting is for life”.

“We were opponents for 90 minutes, we wanted to win the three points, but you know my relationship with Sporting is for life. He was 15 and in various roles. I succeeded, I’m part of history and I’m very proud, but at this point, as coach of Moreirense, I’m sad. I wanted to give something more, we need points, but I am convinced that, despite the difficulty until the end, we will stay in the League,” said Sá Pinto.

With the Green and White List, Ricardo Sá Pinto played 228 games, scored 49 goals and won a National Championship (2001/02), two Portuguese Cups (1994/95 and 2001/02) and three Cândido de Oliveira Super Cups ( 1995, 2000 and 2002).
