THE BALL – The Italians guarantee: Svilar will strengthen Roma (Benfica)

Mile Svilar will continue his career at Roma next season. According to Sky Sport, the agreement between the Serbian goalkeeper and the Italian icon is complete and, by the end of the month, Svilar should travel to Rome for the usual medical examinations before signing a contract.

The 22-year-old arrived at Luz in 2017, in exchange for 4.5 million euros for 90% of the assist, and will leave the eagles at the end of this season at “zero cost”. Svilar is out of contract so he can, from January 1, sign a contract with any other club for 2022/23.

Svilar will be a bet from José Mourinho, who once praised the keeper in a Benfica game against Manchester United, and also Tiago Pinto, a former Eagles manager and now in a managerial role at Roma.
