There’s a new cell phone OnePlus being prepared by the Chinese manufacturer with an impressive fast charging power of up to 160W. Putting this value into perspective, currently Samsung’s top of the range, the Galaxy S22 Ultra, has a maximum charging power of 45W , so the next mobile phone from the Chinese manufacturer will be extraordinarily fast in charging the battery.
At stake is the smartphone with model number PGKM10, certified by China’s 3C agency, ensuring it meets local quality standards and essentially giving it the green light to hit the market. It remains to be seen, however, exactly when it will arrive, what the commercial name will be, as well as other details.
Arriving in 2022, the OnePlus phone will surprise you with its charging power
We still do not know what will be the commercial name of the smartphone with the model number PGKM10, however, the leak Digital Chat Station, one of the most credible sources in the industry, claims that it will be the next high-end OnePlus smartphone.
Specifically, it will have MediaTek’s Dimensity 8100 processor, as well as a 4,500 mAh battery. The highlight, however, is the maximum charging power of 160W which promises to make a difference for the user.
On the other hand, this source specifies that the phone will have a maximum charge of 150 W, although it is equipped with a USB charger / adapter of 160 W of current.
Always according to leak Digital Chat Station, the phone will have a 6.7-inch screen, manufactured by BOE and punched through the center by the front camera. It will have a triple main camera system led by the 50 MP Sony IMX766 sensor.
It should also be noted that this will not be the only mobile phone from the BBK Electronics group (OPPO, Realme, OnePlus and Vivo) to adopt these technical characteristics. Indeed, we will also have the Realme GT Neo 3 with very similar configurations.
Fast charging is a key driver of innovation in 2022
It is important to note that the new OnePlus 10 and OnePlus 10 Pro have not yet launched in Europe. However, we anticipate your arrival by the end of March, or at the latest during the second quarter of the year.
We remind the reader that the two next-generation phones – OnePlus 10 and OnePlus 10 Pro – were presented in January 2022, in China.
