O Casa Pia reported on Tuesday evening that coach Filipe Martins was hospitalized again, a situation he has been in since February 28, in order to overcome the consequences of the Covid-19 infection.
The Lisbon district club also adds “that his state of health is improving”. The geese currently occupy first place in League II, with 52 points, after 25 days have already passed.

“Casa Pia Atlético Clube hereby comes to examine the state of health of coach Filipe Martins. As previously reported, on February 17, the coach was admitted to hospital for medical examinations, following infection of covid-19, remaining until February 25, the date of his release.
However, additional tests and treatment were required, which led to the technician having a new hospitalization on February 28, where he has remained since. The clinical department as well as the technician’s medical team monitored and provided all day-to-day support. We would like to inform you that your state of health has improved.
Sincere messages of support have reached us, which we are very grateful for and which certainly encourage our profession for a quick and effective recovery.
