THE BALL – Fabio Capello’s praise for Rafael Leão (but I fix it too) (Milan)

Fabio Capello, a former Italian side, praises Rafael Leão but still comments on the Portuguese, believing that lately the striker has been ‘a bit selfish’.

“Rafael Leão is a great player, very interesting, even if he seems a bit selfish lately. But I want to be clear, it’s a small detail,” said the coach, in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport.

Although Milan are top of Serie A, Capello doesn’t think the Rossoneri are stronger than other teams of the past: “Milan defend well, even without Simon Kjaer. Kalulu has become a solid option and makes no mistakes. I don’t think Milan is stronger. They replaced a great goalkeeper with another great goalkeeper, they have a dynamic midfield, with quality players and one of the best left wingers in the world with Theo [Hernández] and Rafael Leao.”
