The Galaxy S22 Ultra was officially launched at the end of February by Samsung. It arrives on the market to seduce Android users with all the curls of an “Ultra” and a design reminiscent of the Note line. Now he broke a Guinness record.
In what the brand calls the “epic unboxing”, Samsung set the record for most people unboxing it simultaneously, in multiple places. The feat was celebrated on social media, with photographs to prove it.
Samsung gathered 1820 users to unbox the Galaxy S22 Ultra in 17 different cities
This event took place in a total of 17 different cities on March 5. And the most important thing is that there were more than 1820 users who pre-purchased the Galaxy S22 Ultra.
It is worth remembering that this is not the only record recently broken by Samsung. The Galaxy S22 also became the most pre-ordered Samsung device ever with over 100,000 pre-orders in just 72 hours.
Those who participated in this “epic unboxing” event didn’t just take their new Galaxy S22 Ultra out of the box. In a limited-edition box, users were also treated to Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Buds 2 headphones.
“It’s a very big day for us and I’m extremely proud to be part of the team that brought this record-breaking event to 17 cities. I am grateful to all of our epic customers and fans who came together to make this a truly historic day for Samsung,” said Aditya Babbar, Senior Executive, Samsung.
Thanks to this #EpicUnboxing, Samsung officially enters the Guinness World Record.
