The government increases the discount on the Autovoucher to 20 euros

In October 2021, the government approved the Autovoucher, which guaranteed a discount of 10 cents per liter on fuel, a maximum of 50 liters, or five euros per month. The program worked similarly to IVAucher, with the amount being transferred directly to the taxpayer’s account, who will have to pay with a bank card.

Given the significant increase in fuel, the government will grant 20 euros to the Autovoucher program.

The government recently announced an increase in the Autovoucher rebate to €20 in March, to mitigate the impact of rising fuel prices.

The Autovoucher was one of the measures taken by the government late last year, along with others, to mitigate the impact of rising fuel prices, in the hope that this upward trend would be temporary - which is not known, verified in light of the recent war between Russia and Ukraine.
