‘Resident Evil 2’, ‘Resident Evil 3’ and ‘Resident Evil 7’ are coming to PS5 and Xbox Series in 2022 – JBox

THE capcom informed yesterday (02) that Resident Evil 2, resident evil 3 and Resident Evil 7 Biohazard arrive for PlayStation 5 and Xbox series X/S later this year, with enhancements to “enhance immersion”. On PS5, games will still support DualSense features, with haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.

Anyone who owns the games for PS4 or Xbox One can enjoy an upgrade at no additional cost on both new consoles. An update patch will also be available for PC users for free.

Resident Evil 2 was released in 1998 on PS1 with Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield having to escape from Raccoon City. The recent remake was very well received.

Resident Evil 3: Nemesis (Biohazard 3: Last Escapein Japan), was released on the first PlayStation in September 1999, winning a redo recently. The story centers on Jill Valentine’s efforts to escape Raccoon City, which is threatened with being destroyed by a nuclear missile in an effort to contain the infection.

Resident Evil 7: Biohazardknown in Japan as Biohazard 7: Resident Evilis considered the game that definitively brought the franchise back to the genre survival horror; after the launch of smaller titles like the spin off from the Serie Revelationsthat became blockbusters, and after years of major games becoming action-oriented.

At the time of the announcement of Gamea little controversy arose because of the changes in the style of the camera, as it replaced the traditional third-person camera, to now be first-person, and this resulted in rejection by some fans.

Despite the changes, Resident Evil 7 received very positive reviews from specialist critics but also from the public, with good sales. It is also considered one of the best games of 2017, and survival horror in general.

The game’s storylines often follow civilians or agents trying to survive in infected cities or fighting against bioterrorist organizations.

All 9 spin-off films from the games (apart from a short) have been officially released in Brazil, and three of them, starring the actress Milla Jovovichare available to stream on netflix. A manga version, titled “Resident Evil: Marhawa’s Desirewas published here in Brazil by Publishing house panini in 2012, with 5 bound volumes.
