The PSI-20 ended the last session of the week losing 2.49% to 5,331.85 points. The Portuguese market was all the same the European stock market the least penalized by the escalation of the war in Ukraine, in particular with the attack last night against the largest nuclear power plant in Europe.
Of the 19 listed in the index, only three managed to close positive, while the other 16 ended the day in the red.
BCP led the losses, falling 8.29% to 0.1339 euros, the lowest since December 20 last year.
Galp also closed strongly, which lost 4.80% to 10.805 euros, while CTT fell 4.18%, closing at 4.13 euros.
In the paper sector, Navigator fell by 3.43%, Altri by 3.36% and Semapa by 1.56%.
Retailers Sonae and Jerónimo Martins also had a negative day, with declines of 2.39% and 2.2%, respectively.
Also Nos, which presented results yesterday after the market closed, did not escape the red tide, losing 1.69% to 3,368 euros.
The EDP group limited the index’s losses, with EDPR up 0.59% at 20.6 euros, and the parent company up slightly by 0.02%, closing at 4.02 euros.
Novabase, with a gain of 1.2%, to 5.06 euros, was the listed company with the best performance.
